Equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) are at the forefront of our country’s social agenda. There is a critical need to define EDI and engage in a discourse about its value and benefits to the work environment and the communities we serve. Moreover, there is a language of diversity. It is an evolving language that requires awareness, understanding, and skill in the same way as other core competencies. This roundtable presentation serves as a call to consciousness.
